Mommy and Daddy
Please… don’t be so sad,
I miss you so very much too.
It’s beautiful here where I am
But I worry a lot about both of you.
I sleep with angels watching me,
There’s only love up here.
I’m never lonely or afraid
Cause God’s so very near.
I walk with Jesus every day
He’s very kind and sweet.
Don’t worry Mommy and Daddy;
He holds my hand
When we cross the golden street.
I never cry or hurt myself
I see Grandma every day.
I play and laugh and sing a lot
And hear you when you pray.
Please Mommy and Daddy,
Don’t’ be mad a God,
You see, he loves me too.
And even though
you’re not with me
I’m really still with you.
Hi, we are Michael and Sue Kidd, in honor of our daughter’s birthday, I would like to share the poem that my aunt gave to us shortly after our daughter’s death. If she could talk to us, I know she would say something like this:

Happy Birthday Shelly-Belly. Mommy and Daddy love you very much!
