Chanukah is here.
I see the candles glow.
Red, pink and blue.
But you’re not here
to see their pretty shadows.
I shop for gifts,
and this year, again once more,
I won’t be in a quandary of what to buy.
I give you my love,my precious son,
for that is eternal.
And once again,it will have to do.
