Our Baby Angel

You never called us Mommy or Daddy,
but we know that’s who we are.
You arrived much too early, much too small;
our hearts are heavy, our arms are bare.

Yet, you touched our hearts,
in ways only an angel can.
We love you dearly, Ethan, our son,
and look to the day we’re together again.
