David Aaron Anderson “Our Little Fighter”
Jon & Amy Anderson
August 9, 1997
“We will always love you,
Your parents, Jon & Amy Anderson”

You came into our lives on an August afternoon;
We held you close and kissed you, then you left us much too soon.

We counted your little fingers and your tiny little toes…
Your mommy thought that you had a cute little nose.

The nurses washed and dressed you, and gave you lots of care;
Your leaving us has made us feel that life isn’t very fair.

Your daddy held you in his hands until the time you died;
Then your parents held each other while they grieved and cried.

We know that God will keep you safely in His love,
And we look forward to that day when we will meet above.

Sadly missed by his parents,
Jon and Amy Anderson

David Aaron Anderson, son of Jon and Amy Anderson, was due January 5, 1998, but passed from this earth on August 9, 1997. He was lost due to the rupture of the amniotic sac. Conceived through IVF, David and his twin were doing well until week 9, when the twin detached from the uterine wall. The continual bleeding over the next 2 weeks may have contributed to the weakening of the remaining sac. On week 15, David’s sac ruptured. We hoped in vain for the sac to refill, but it was not to be: 4 weeks after rupture, David was delivered. His heartbeat was strong to the end. The nurse called him a “little fighter”. He was born August 9, 1997 at 1:13 p.m. and left us at 1:30 p.m.
