Honor for the Top Fundraising Team
A prize basket valued at over $500 will be awarded to the Top Fundraising Team Captain before the IRIS Turkey Trot begins. On top of the wonderful Prize Basket the Top Fundraising Team will Lead the Walk with a Turkey Trot Banner and team members will sign the banner! This will be a wonderful opportunity to honor a precious life.
Remember, to be included in this contest all funds must be turned in by 6:30 PM on November 26, 2025.
Teams are the heart of this event. They are made up of family members, friends, coworkers and others who have been touched by the death of a child as a way to celebrate, remember and honor a precious life. Invite your family and friends to participate in the IRIS Turkey Trot, have them indicate that they are participating in memory of your child during registration and/or make a donation to your team.

Memorial Area:
Turkey Trot participants have the opportunity to join in creating a display that honors the lives of babies and children gone too soon. Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of an item such as an ultrasound photo, picture of your child, a letter you have written to your child, share a memory, and/or a poem as a tribute to your loved one. Blank Note Cards will be available during check-in for you to complete if desired. Please make sure to collect your item at the end of the Turkey Trot.

All proceeds will benefit Infants Remembered In Silence, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to offering parents, families, friends and professionals support, education and resources on the death of a child.

Funds raised will be used to provide bereavement support to families who have had a child die in early pregnancy (ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, miscarriage, etc.) or from stillbirth, neo-natal death, birth defects, illness, accident, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) (accidental suffocation, strangulation, overlay, etc.), and all other types of infants and early childhood death.
