Ava Noelle Liverseed took us by surprise by unexpectedly arriving on April 13, 2012 at only 24 weeks gestation. She was a strong fighter and doing far better than doctors predicted until she unexpectedly - and with no explanation- had a severe grade 4 intracranial hemorrhage when she was 3 days old, covering the entire right half of her brain as well as part of her left. With the dire circumstance and even worse prognosis, we decided to take her off the machines and she peacefully passed away on April 17, 2012. *A life so brief, a child so small; you had the power to touch us all.*
