The world has closed their eyes
it’s quiet as can be
until sunrise

I can see her shining in the sky
through the darkness of the night
me here on my swing and her so high
just us two

I can feel her shining, shining down on me
baby you’re my little ray of light
I could find you in the darkest of night
if I had a wish I know what it would be
one night I’d have wings and then we’d fly together
