Infants Remembered In Silence (IRIS) - Poems

His Candle

I light his candle
to acknowledge his life,
and I say his name
and that I miss him.
I wonder if its celebration enough
for what he means to me.

…So I light his candle
with each joy, sadness and love
content with the
knowledge…
that he is with me always
because he is in my heart.
This candle burns in memory of
my son.
