Little Angel, precious child
You were her such a little while
Jesus was watching,
He knew from the start
You were destined for Heaven
And we had to part
He sent his angels
To lift you on high
And we were left wondering
WHY, OH GOD WHY ?

God said My dear little child
This treasure’s my own
And I looked for a loving heart
To whom I could loan
Such a special creation
But just for a while
For heaven’s the true home
Of this little child
At the end of time
You’ll embrace once again
The pain forgotten
Only love will remain.
