My Sister

In loving memory of Emily Arlene Mork

Though I never got to see you
My thoughts are always with you
You mean so much to me
I just can’t understand, is that the way it had to be?
I’ll never get to see you in the high school band
Or hold your fingers tightly in my hand
We’ll never walk side by side
Or say “I Love You” from inside
But you mean so much to me anyway
I love you much more than words can say!
