Little babe kicking inside,
What is my future tomorrow?
Days of joy or days of sorrow?

Little babe kicking inside,
To hold you is all I need
To this my God I plead.

Little babe kicking inside,
Grow to suckle my breast
Put my empty days to rest

Little babe kicking inside,
Indeed precious gift so rare,
Your life’s breath is all I care.
