Aaron’s Song
By Victoria Klinger

You were just a baby
Who left before you came.
To us you were a treasure,
With a very special name.
We called you Aaron Joseph,
Your hair was gentle red.
We often wish to hold you,
But find an empty bed.

Little one, precious one, peaceful one
Little one, precious one, peaceful one

And so we walk the road alone,
But think of you a lot.
We’d never trade having had you,
And the memories we’ve got.

How glad we are to know;
That you are in a heavenly place.
With angels there to hold you,
And see your precious face.
How quickly life speeds by us now,
How much we have to do.
But when our maker calls us home,
We’ll come be with you.

Little one, precious one, peaceful one
Little one, precious one, peaceful one

And so we walk the road alone,
But think of you a lot.
We’d never trade having had you,
And the memories we’ve got.

Little one, precious one, peaceful one
You were just a baby who left before you came.

For all of those who love and care
I will always know your prayers are there
No tears need be shed for me
For God am I within eternity.
Where someday united we all shall be.
Love, Brittany
