Remembering

The day I found out I was pregnant,
I was so happy.
The day I found out you were a boy,
I was grateful.
Watching you grow on the ultrasound,
made me laugh and smile,
because you were always moving –
my energetic little guy.
Picking out names for a boy.
Getting the room ready for my
beautiful new addition.
Giving birth to you October 2…
4 months early.
Talking to you and holding you for
the hour and a half that you spent
on this earth with me.
I will always remember you and
will always love you with all my
heart, and for the rest of eternity.
