Little angel small and sweet, how
briefly we did meet.
Soft silky hair, a button nose, precious
hands and toes.
We wanted to hold you and keep you
right here,
but Jesus was calling, and wanted you
near.
Your mission from Heaven our hearts
to touch,
and in that short time we loved you
so much.
On your journey to Heaven, oh littlest of angels,
we’ll forever give thanks you came first to our arms.
One day, sweet baby, we’ll meet you there,
and many more others, this is our prayer.
