IRIS October 15th International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day Service
October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month and October 15th is International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Join us on October 15th 2024, for a service at the IRIS House in honor of International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
Service Details:
The service will begin at 7:00 pm at the IRIS House (218 Third Ave. NW Faribault, MN 55021)
The service will take place regardless of weather conditions.
No registration is needed and please bring your own candle/candle holder (battery operated candles work best)
If you would like to participate during the service (read a poem, sing/share a song, etc.) please let us know.
During the service, we will display hearts made in memory of a child. Names on new hearts are recorded every year. You are welcome to put more than one name on a heart and you are welcome to send in a new heart each year.
Feel free to make a heart, write the name of the baby you are honoring and send it to IRIS for the service. Hearts will be saved and reused each year. Lastly, we want to light up as many buildings, bridges, or places as possible with pink and blue lights. If you know of any places to light up, please let us know so we can reach out!
